My Story
In 2010, amidst the dusty landscapes of Afghanistan and the relentless rhythms of military deployment, my journey toward becoming a real estate agent began in the most unexpected of ways. Miles from home, in a time zone worlds apart, I faced the daunting task of finding a new home for my impending move back to the United States. The excitement of returning was overshadowed by the stress of securing a place to live, a process made all the more challenging by my reliance on a real estate agent who, despite their best intentions, seemed disconnected from my needs and desires.
The frustration of emails and calls lost in translation, of listings that missed the mark by miles, became a daily struggle. It was a lesson in patience and perseverance, but also in the profound disconnect that can occur when someone holds the keys to your future home but doesn’t truly listen. Upon my return, instead of the rest and recovery I had longed for, I found myself in a frantic search for a new realtor, determined to make up for lost time and find the perfect home where I could finally unwind.
