Maria Deibert

Treasurer

With a strong foundation in financial discipline, military service, and veteran advocacy, Maria ensures that resources are managed responsibly and aligned with the organization’s long-term impact goals.
Raised in Cincinnati alongside three siblings in a hardworking household, Maria learned early the realities of financial strain and instability. Experiencing frequent moves and limited resources
shaped her resolve to pursue financial stability and long-term security. Determined to break the cycle of scarcity, she enlisted in the United States Navy, beginning a 30-year military career that
would transform her life and leadership capacity. Over the course of her naval service, Maria rose to the rank of Senior Chief, earning multiple honors including the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and Navy Good Conduct Medal, among others. Her military career instilled in her a deep sense of discipline,
accountability, and service—qualities that now guide her financial leadership and commitment to helping others achieve stability.
Following her retirement from the Navy, Maria recognized a critical need among transitioning service members: a lack of preparation for long-term financial health and sustainability. Drawing from both her lived experience and professional expertise, she dedicated herself to financial education and veteran empowerment, helping others build stability, security, and generational financial awareness.
Today, Maria specializes in financial education, budgeting strategies, and planning solutions designed to support Veterans, military families, and veteran-owned small businesses. She leads financial literacy efforts and workshops focused on budgeting, benefits planning, and long-term financial growth, equipping clients with tools to make informed and confident financial decisions.
